Our Services
Three Programmes, One Standard of Care
Each service is defined clearly — what it includes, how it proceeds, and what it costs. No hidden scope, no vague process.

How Each Service Is Structured
All three programmes at Saujana Jam begin with the same intake process: documentation of the current condition, a written note of what has been observed, and a discussion of options before any work is authorised.
From intake onward, the path diverges according to what the watch needs. The Standard Service Programme follows a defined overhaul sequence. The Bracelet programme focuses on the case and bracelet assembly without opening the movement. The Deep Conservation programme is an extended engagement that may span several months and involves the owner at key decision points.
Shared Across All Services
- Photographic intake documentation
- Written condition note before work begins
- Pricing agreed at intake — no additions without contact
- Work carried out only by our own watchmakers
- Collection by appointment or walk-in during hours
Programme 01
Standard Service Programme
MYR 980
A complete service pathway for mechanical and automatic calibres, carried out in line with horological convention and the manufacturer's recommended interval. The watch is documented through photographs and a written intake examination noting current rate behaviour, water resistance condition, and owner-noted observations.
Process Steps
- 1Intake documentation: photographs, written rate and condition note
- 2Full disassembly of the movement
- 3Staged ultrasonic cleaning in horological-grade solvents
- 4Component inspection under magnification; worn parts identified
- 5Mainspring, pivot surfaces, and pallet stones assessed and renewed as required
- 6Reassembly with correct lubrication at each contact surface
- 7Regulation across multiple positions on professional timing equipment
- 8Multi-day rate observation before return
Typical Timeline
Three to five weeks from intake. Timeline communicated at intake based on current workshop load.
Particularly suited for watches following their service interval or showing noticeable rate drift.

Programme 02
Bracelet Refinishing & Service
MYR 740
A focused service for steel, gold, and bi-metal bracelets where wear has accumulated through years of use — stretched links, worn clasp mechanisms, and surface marks across brushed and polished zones. This programme does not require opening the movement.
Process Steps
- 1Assessment of clasp tension, link articulation, and pin condition
- 2Stretched link tightening or replacement per owner preference
- 3Clasp spring and folding mechanism service or replacement
- 4Brushed surfaces grained with correct directionality
- 5Polished surfaces treated with progressive abrasives to maintain crisp transitions
- 6Pin and tube assembly renewal during reassembly
Typical Timeline
Two to three weeks from intake, depending on the extent of work agreed.
Suited for daily-worn watches where the bracelet has begun to feel less precise than when new.

Programme 03
Deep Conservation Service
MYR 2,200
A specialised programme for watches requiring extended attention beyond a routine service — typically pieces stored without service for many years, vintage references with degraded lubrication, or watches recently acquired without service documentation. The owner is consulted at each major decision point.
Process Steps
- 1Detailed intake examination and photographic record
- 2Full movement overhaul (as per Standard Service Programme)
- 3Case and bracelet attention with conservation in mind
- 4Gasket renewal and pressure testing
- 5Dial and hands review; period-correct components sourced where appropriate
- 6Owner consultation at each major decision point
- 7Detailed written condition report prepared on completion
Typical Timeline
Ten to sixteen weeks, depending on parts availability and the depth of conservation required. Detailed estimate provided at intake.
Suited for important pieces, inherited watches, and references intended for long-term holding.

Technical Protocols Applied Across All Work
Horological-Grade Materials Only
Lubricants, cleaning solvents, and replacement components are sourced from specialist horological suppliers — not general engineering supplies.
Rate Performance on Timing Equipment
Regulation is performed on professional multi-position timing equipment. Results are observed across dial-up, crown-down, and hanging positions.
Pressure Testing Protocol
Following gasket renewal, cases are wet-tested to the manufacturer's stated depth rating. Results are recorded and reported to the owner.
Client Data Discretion
Contact and watch details are held only for the duration of the service relationship. We do not share client information with third parties.
Multi-Day Rate Observation
After regulation, the movement runs on the bench for several days before return. This observation period reveals behaviour that a single timing session cannot.
Clear Communication Standard
We respond to enquiries within one to two working days. Scope or cost changes during work are communicated before proceeding — not presented on collection.
