Brought in my grandfather's Longines pocket watch movement for a full service. Razif was very thorough at intake — photographed everything and noted the condition of the mainspring before starting. The watch is keeping better time now than my grandfather described it ever had. Very satisfied.

Brought my daily Tudor in for bracelet refinishing. The clasp had become quite floppy and the links were noticeably stretched. The result was not like new — it still has character from years of wear — but the clasp works solidly again and the surfaces look sharp. Took about three weeks, as quoted.

I collect mainly 1960s and 70s Swiss pieces and Saujana Jam is the only place I trust for servicing in Malaysia. They understand that patina is not a defect. When one of my pieces needed a replacement part, they tracked down a period-correct component rather than fitting a modern substitute. That matters to me.

Very professional. Walked in without appointment, Amir explained the intake process clearly and took notes on everything I'd observed about the watch's behaviour. Got a call midway through to confirm one worn part before it was replaced. That kind of communication is not common and I appreciate it.

Sent in a Rolex that had been sitting in a drawer for about eight years. They were honest that it would take time and that some parts might need sourcing. The timeline they gave was accurate. The movement now runs within a few seconds a day — better than I expected for its age. Reasonable price for the work involved.

My husband's Omega had a bracelet that had become loose and uncomfortable. Sent it here on a recommendation. The team assessed the links and clasp clearly, explained what they'd do and why, and the finished bracelet feels much closer to what it must have been new. Good craftsmanship.

Detailed Client Journeys

A closer look at how specific pieces came to us and what the work involved.

Case Study · Deep Conservation

A 1968 IWC Calibre 89 — Inherited, Unserviced for Decades

The Challenge

The watch had not been serviced since the early 1990s. The lubricants had degraded into a residue that was partially blocking the escapement. The original crown was worn and the gasket was non-functional.

The Work

Full disassembly and staged ultrasonic cleaning. Pivot surfaces polished. A period-correct crown was sourced from a parts supplier in Switzerland. Gasket renewed and pressure tested. Dial and hands reviewed — no intervention needed, the dial was in good original condition.

The Outcome

Movement now running at +4 seconds/day across all positions. The owner was consulted before every consequential step. Total turnaround: 14 weeks. The client intends to pass the watch to their son.

"They treated it as the important piece it is, not just another job."

— Client, Klang Valley

A Daily-Worn Submariner — Bracelet Worn, Movement Running Fast

The Challenge

The watch had been worn daily for six years without service. The bracelet links were visibly stretched and the clasp was difficult to open. Movement was running about +18 seconds/day — beyond the manufacturer's specification.

The Work

Standard Service Programme on the movement, Bracelet Refinishing programme on the bracelet — both agreed at intake. The client was consulted about whether to restore brushed surfaces on the case or leave them as-is. They chose minimal case intervention, which we respected.

The Outcome

Movement regulated to +3 seconds/day after observation. Bracelet clasp engaging firmly; links returned to correct articulation. Turnaround: five weeks. The client has since brought two other pieces for assessment.

"It feels like a different watch. The bracelet alone was worth the trip."

— Regular client, Petaling Jaya
